Specialist, Email and Website Management
Who we are
We’re not your typical non-profit. We bring swagger to everything we do. That means we move with purpose in every step, driven by our commitment to putting our community at the centre of our work. Every day, we ask ourselves to see possibilities where others see limits. Because people with Parkinson’s and care partners deserve better. Better care, more inclusive research and access to treatment and support that make living well possible.
Our mission is to empower and inspire people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners to live fully and courageously. Through community support, advocacy, and research, we encourage others to see a diagnosis not as a dimming of light, but a spark for a new beginning.
Move forward. Together. On Mission.
Who we need
Reporting to the Manager, Brand Marketing, we are hiring a Specialist, Email and Website Management for a 14-month contract. As our new Specialist, Email and Website Management, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Parkinson Canada's email marketing program while supporting website content management across our digital channels. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing & Communications and other internal stakeholders, you will manage the email marketing calendar, coordinate campaigns for multiple audiences, and ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with our brand and strategic priorities. You will also help maintain our website, balancing competing requests while ensuring our digital channels remain engaging, accessible, and effective in supporting fundraising, advocacy, education, and community engagement initiatives.
This is a remote role based anywhere in Canada, with occasional travel for team meetings and events, typically one or two times per year.
What's in it for you
Purpose. Every email you build and every webpage you update helps connect people living with Parkinson's, their care partners, donors, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and advocates with the information, resources, and support they need. You will play a meaningful role in strengthening engagement with communities across Canada while contributing to fundraising, education, advocacy, and mission-driven initiatives that make a tangible difference.
Ownership and variety. This is a hands-on role where you will own the execution of Parkinson Canada's email marketing program from planning through deployment and performance analysis. You will collaborate across teams, balance multiple campaigns and stakeholder requests, and contribute to website content management, giving you broad exposure to digital marketing while building expertise in audience engagement, campaign strategy, and marketing operations.
A team that plans ahead. You will join an experienced and collaborative Marketing & Communications team that values proactive planning, thoughtful execution, and continuous improvement. Rather than working reactively, you will help maintain a marketing calendar that operates months in advance, giving you the opportunity to produce high-quality work, introduce new ideas, and continuously improve how the organization connects with its audiences.
As our new Specialist, Email and Website Management, you will:
- Lead email marketing execution. You will plan, build, test, deploy, and optimize email campaigns that engage diverse audiences across Canada. Working from a proactive marketing calendar, you will ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with organizational priorities while maintaining a consistent, accessible, and engaging experience for recipients.
- Manage and enhance our digital presence. You will maintain website content that is current, user-friendly, and aligned with Parkinson Canada's brand and communications strategy. Working with internal stakeholders, you will publish web page updates, publish blogs, support campaign launches, and help ensure our website effectively connects people with the information and resources they need.
- Collaborate across the organization. You will partner with colleagues across Marketing & Communications and other teams to coordinate campaigns, manage competing priorities, and balance stakeholder requests. You will build trusted relationships by providing guidance on timelines, recommending best practices, and ensuring digital initiatives are delivered with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Measure, learn, and improve. You will monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and improve outcomes. You will use insights and data to refine future campaigns, support informed decision-making, and contribute ideas that enhance how Parkinson Canada connects with its audiences.
What you bring
- The email marketing expertise. You have hands-on experience planning, building, testing, and deploying email marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You understand email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, responsive design, accessibility, deliverability, and performance measurement. You take pride in producing accurate, polished work and know that attention to detail is essential.
- The digital marketing knowledge. You have experience updating website content using a content management system and web platforms like Wordpress, Wix and Squarespace. Experience working with HTML is an asset. You understand how websites and email work together to create a seamless digital experience and are eager to continue building your expertise across digital marketing channels.
- The organizational skills. You thrive in an environment where multiple projects are on the go. You can confidently manage competing deadlines, coordinate requests from different stakeholders, and maintain a proactive approach to planning, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, even during busy campaign periods.
- The communication and collaboration skills. You build strong working relationships across teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable asking thoughtful questions, managing expectations, and providing recommendations that help move projects forward while balancing organizational priorities.
- The curiosity and drive. You are proactive, resourceful, and always looking for ways to improve how work gets done. You enjoy learning new tools, refining processes, and using data and insights to strengthen future campaigns. Most importantly, you are motivated by the opportunity to use your skills to support a mission that has a meaningful impact on communities across Canada.
